Global availability of systems
Thanks to our in-house development and production of plasticising components, we can realise screw diameters of up to Ø 260 mm. You can use it to reliably produce plastic water management systems with part weights of up to 100 kg. You also benefit from a reliably high plasticising performance with short cycle times, low scrap and little wear.
Recyclates are increasingly being used in the production of plastic water management systems. In order to minimise the footprint and energy requirements of the system, the two-stage process is used. The regrind is processed directly at the injection moulding machine. By eliminating regranulation, you save up to 30% energy, depending on the application.
The intelligent iQ weight control assistance system regulates every injection process during production. It corrects the injection volume and calculates the switchover point of the injection moulding process in the same shot. Fluctuations are compensated for in each shot. This reduces the scattering of the moulded part weight by up to 85%. Your benefits in the production of plastic water management systems: more stable processes, increased part quality, faster start-up after mould changes and exact repeat accuracy, even with recycled applications.
Through the intelligent use of injection moulding processes, you can save on material and weight and actively contribute to the sustainability of your plastic water management components. The following processes offer you an optimum solution for resource-saving production and high-quality results:
With us, you have maximum flexibility thanks to perfectly harmonised machine combinations. We develop solutions that precisely meet the needs of your plastic water management systems. Our wide range of possible combinations between clamping units and injection units guarantees you the optimum solution for your water management components.
With 9 production plants in Europe, North America and Asia, as well as subsidiaries and representatives in over 85 countries, we are present worldwide. Our ENGEL service team is available for you 24/7 globally, on site or remotely.
