The dynamic machine for thin-wall applications

e-speed 280

Direct processing of rPET in thin-wall injection moulding

Together with our partners ALPLA Group, Brink and IPB Printing, we are presenting a quantum leap for the packaging industry at K 2022. For the first time, thin-walled containers can be produced directly in injection moulding from PET and rPET in just one process step. An ENGEL e speed injection moulding machine with a newly developed, extremely powerful injection unit will be used for this purpose. This significantly expands the range of applications for PET and rPET.

Digital product passport enables traceability

R-Cycle

R-Cycle documents the properties during production and makes this data available to improve the sorting process at the end of the life cycle.
For this cup, a digital product passport was created in R-Cycle that records relevant information during sorting, grinding, granulating, labelling and injection moulding.
