Linear Robot

viper: Powerful and Flexible to Use

ENGEL has been building high-performance linear robots since 1980. Our industrial robots are the perfect complement to your injection moulding machine. The innovative and robust design offers increased payload capacity with low dead weight. The digital solutions from our inject 4.0 programme ensure that all movements mesh perfectly together.

The Advantages of Our Linear Robot at a Glance
High load capacity for machines from 30 to 5,500 tonnes

Thanks to the construction of laser-welded steel profiles, the dead weight of the viper linear robots is low. At the same time, the stability is high. iQ vibration control ensures active vibration compensation. Ideally suited for payloads from 6 to 120 kg.

Integrated control concept for easy operation

Due to our integrated control concept, the linear robot can be operated entirely from the CC300 machine control which guarantees optimal interaction of the components. The exchange of signals is also used for the integration of other peripheral devices.

Reduction of cycle times through optimised path planning

To reduce the path planning in many applications, the robot movement should be perfectly coordinated with the movement sequences of the injection moulding machine. Our digital solution, iQ motion control, solves this challenge in the production of deep injection moulded parts such as housing components, boxes, or containers with a long core.

Flexible connection of comprehensive gripper solutions
