viper: Powerful and Flexible to Use

The Advantages of Our Linear Robot at a Glance
Thanks to the construction of laser-welded steel profiles, the dead weight of the viper linear robots is low. At the same time, the stability is high. iQ vibration control ensures active vibration compensation. Ideally suited for payloads from 6 to 120 kg.
Due to our integrated control concept, the linear robot can be operated entirely from the CC300 machine control which guarantees optimal interaction of the components. The exchange of signals is also used for the integration of other peripheral devices.
To reduce the path planning in many applications, the robot movement should be perfectly coordinated with the movement sequences of the injection moulding machine. Our digital solution, iQ motion control, solves this challenge in the production of deep injection moulded parts such as housing components, boxes, or containers with a long core.
The grip tools from ENGEL ensure efficient use of the linear robot. We offer both standard robot grippers for different areas of application, and individually designed grippers in special versions.
Vacuum suction cups are often used to remove components from the mould. The compressed air required to generate this vacuum is a very expensive medium. In order to minimise the compressed air requirement, all vacuum circuits on our linear robot viper are equipped with a vacuum saving circuit as standard.
