Billion and ENGEL enter into new partnership

French injection moulding machine manufacturer Billion SAS and ENGEL have entered into a strategic partnership, setting a clear course for the long term: Billion will remain the central point of contact for servicing existing Billion machines, while ENGEL takes on the role of recommended supplier for new equipment purchases. For customers, this means continuity and reliable planning on both fronts – for their existing fleet and for future investment.

ENGEL and Billion have agreed a collaboration that takes effect immediately. The aim is to continue supplying Billion customers with innovative injection moulding solutions while maintaining the trusted local service they already know. Billion will remain an independent company and will recommend ENGEL as its preferred machine supplier. Both companies are family-run businesses, sharing a common set of values built around long-term, responsible decision-making for the benefit of customers, employees and partners – a solid foundation for this new partnership.

For existing customers, day-to-day business will change very little – yet something important has shifted behind the scenes. Billion will continue to handle its own service operations exactly as before and remains the first point of contact. What is new, however, is that Billion customers can now count on the backing of ENGEL, a major European group with a global sales and service network as well as global manufacturing and supply chain capabilities. Should additional resources be needed – for instance in specific countries – Billion will be able to draw on ENGEL's service network and technical expertise, providing an extra safety net for all customers.

The partnership will also be visible and tangible in practice: customers will soon be able to see and experience an ENGEL solution live at Billion's Tech Centre. In addition to its existing sales office in Wissous, the partnership gives ENGEL the opportunity to make use of Billion's facilities, bringing it physically closer to one of the plastics industry's key regions – allowing both teams to get even closer to their customers.
