ENGEL and EPM with strong presence at PlastIndia 2026
“Made in India” and digital solutions meet high demand in a growth market: The ENGEL Group reports a positive outcome from PlastIndia 2026 in New Delhi. Together with Electronica Plastic Machines (EPM), part of the ENGEL Group since 2024, the company presented a joint trade fair appearance for the first time. The focus was on locally manufactured machine solutions and digital assistance systems tailored to the requirements of the Indian market. High visitor numbers and in-depth technical discussions underline the strategic importance of India as a growth market.
Local manufacturing as a strategic component
On a joint stand covering 280 m², ENGEL and EPM showcased a machine portfolio tailored to the Indian market.
The focus was on the t-win and e-win series manufactured in India by EPM at the Pune site. During the trade fair, the ENGEL | electronica machine was officially presented. It represents the collaboration between the two companies as well as the expansion of local manufacturing at the Pune site.
“The PlastIndia 2026 was a defining event for us. We presented the t-win and e-win machines manufactured in India. The response from trade fair visitors was very positive and confirms the market relevance of these solutions. We see significant potential for both series in the Indian market,” says Aditya Ratnaparkhi, CEO EPM.
The machines produced in Pune are part of the extended production network of the ENGEL Group and contribute to regional value creation.
The trade fair presentation was complemented by machines from the ENGEL victory series as well as solutions from the Ventura series by EPM. The ENGEL Group thus presented a portfolio addressing different requirements in the Indian market.
Digitalisation addresses increasing market requirements
In addition to machine technology, digitalisation was a key topic in many discussions. In the Expert Corner, ENGEL presented its inject AI solutions.
Feedback from the market indicates that, alongside performance, reliability, energy efficiency and long-term cost-effectiveness are becoming increasingly important. Short delivery times, stable processes and reliable service also play a central role in investment decisions.
“During the intensive exchange with our customers at PlastIndia 2026, it became clear which topics are currently in focus: reliability, energy efficiency and long-term added value. Performance alone is no longer sufficient. With our solutions, we combine stable performance with economic efficiency and reliable service. For ENGEL India, the focus is on supporting our customers sustainably and with high technical expertise,” emphasises Stalinjose Selvanayagam, Managing Director ENGEL India.
By combining locally manufactured machines, global technological expertise and digital assistance systems, ENGEL is further strengthening its position in the Indian market and expanding its presence in one of the most dynamic growth markets in the plastics industry.
