Log4j vulnerability

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

As confirmed by the German Federal Office for Information Security, there is a critical vulnerability in certain versions of the Java library log4j that increases the risk of cyber attacks.

ENGEL clarifies that no vulnerable log4j version is used in any of its products and applications.

These include:

  • All machine and robot controllers, including earlier generations (CC100, CC200, CC300, RC100, RC200, RC300).

  • VirtMould

  • Edge Device (including remote maintenance)

  • Mobile apps such as e-connect and e-calc

  • The e-connect customer portal

  • All service products, such as e-connect.24, e-connect.monitor, e-connect.expert view
