ENGEL and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Plastic Technology Co., Ldt. (MHI-PT) have made a cooperation agreement concerning the marketing of large-scale ENGEL multi-component injection moulding machines for Japanese customers. The purpose is to distribute ENGEL duo combi-machines with clamping forces 1.000 tons and lower in Japan jointly under the brand name “Mitsubishi-ENGEL”.

Beginning in April 2010 Mark Sankovitch (53) will be appointed CEO of ENGEL North America. He follows Steve Braig, who will leave the company until the end of March 2010. Mark Sankovitch has a 20-year experience with ENGEL and recently he was Regional Sales Manager in Chicago.
