ENGEL Subsidiary Opens New Facility in Poland

Schwertberg / Austria, September 2007 – ENGEL inaugurated its new Sales and Service Centre in Warsaw 11 September 2007. The new facility will help ENGEL to offer its customers in Poland faster project planning and application technology consultancy, as well as comprehensive service. 200 Polish customers and partners, the owning family and Engel's executive board all took part in the inauguration ceremony.

Under the management of CEO Michael Rebkowski ENGEL Poland has seen positive development over the past few years and achieved market leadership in Poland with a turnover of 20 million euros. Founded in April 2002, ENGEL Poland went on to continually expand its sales and service network. Today, it has a total staff of 26 who support Polish customers in Sales, Application Technology and Service. A modern training centre and a large engineering team have helped ENGEL Poland to establish itself as a technical service centre for the injection moulding industry.

Consistent Expansion of Eastern European Activities
Engel's decision to open a new subsidiary in Warsaw can be seen as a logical step in Engel's move to reinforce its network of sales and service facilities in the Eastern European region. On Eastern Europe's fast-growing markets, every third machine sold is an ENGEL machine – proof of the ENGEL's determination to successfully establish market activities in Eastern Europe.
