New managing director at the ENGEL Group

Dipl.-Ing. Dr Stefan Engleder will become ENGEL Holding's new Head of Technology and Production on 1st October 2012.

Dr Stefan Engleder`s appointment means there have now been four generations of the owner family involved in managing the ENGEL Group.

Dr Stefan Engleder has been working in the plastics and machine tool industry for the last ten years and during this period has participated in the technical development of various well-known international companies in Germany and Canada. When the doctorate mechanical engineer joined ENGEL in 2008, he was given responsibility for the development and market launch of the ENGEL viper linear robot range. He then became Factory Manager at ENGEL Automatisierungstechnik in Dietach. 

As a result of Stefan Engleder's appointment as CTO, there are now two family members in the management team, with Dr Peter Neumann already CEO. This is very much in line with the group's philosophy of combining tradition with innovation and means that four generations of the family who own the ENGEL Group have now been involved in running it. Mag. Christian Pum, CSO, and Mag. Gotthard Mayringer, CFO, complete ENGEL's four-man management team.
