System solutions from a single source

As a systems supplier, ENGEL invariably regards its clients' projects in their entirety. The company provides a one-stop source for injection moulding machines and automation, process technology and mould project engineering, training and services. Tie-bar-less machine technology in particular is ideally suited to machine-integrated automation. The robot always moves within a slightly widened machine safety gate. After short horizontal movements it places the parts onto a conveyor belt directly adjacent to the mould fixing platens. Smaller footprints, lower system heights, smaller robot sizes and the elimination of additional safety guarding for each robot secure lower investment costs and better utilisation of the production hall.

A production cell featuring space-saving automation with the main axis of the demoulding robot running in machine direction – an example of how space can be optimally utilized in cramped conditions or where full access to the clamping unit is required (mould changing system on rails or carriage).

Two-component production cell for the manufacture of two-colour parts or rigid/flexible composites. With the addition of a discharge conveyor and a sprue separating station, this
production unit is capable of fully automatic, unattended operation.

ENGEL VICTORY 750H / 500W / 260 in coupled operation

Production centre comprising 2 coupled Combimelt injection moulding machines and a common linear robot for insert placing and parts removal. Both machines can each  process two materials in sequence. In coupled operation, the machines can produce a four-component moulding.
