The monitoring system for the production process

ENGEL e-factory is the modular software package both for production and process data acquisition and for the management of machine settings on ENGEL injection moulding machines. Thus ENGEL e-factory is at once the interface and communication gateway between the injection moulding facility and the corporate system network.

Further development of EMS
Initially introduced as the ENGEL Monitoring System (EMS), ENGEL e-factory is already enjoying successful application in numerous injection moulding facilities.

All machines under control - with ENGEL e-factory. The clever Monitoring System monitors all relevant data of ENGEL injection moulding machines - conveniently from the desk-top.

Required and actual values unter control
With ENGEL e-factory it is possible not only to transfer all mould-related settings (required values) and actual process values and production data to the various workstations but also to visualise, evaluate and manage them. Thus the system can also make data available for further processing in the central databases of the corporate system network – for documentation of the production parameters, for example.

All machines unter control
Both at the data acquisition computer and at all work places with authorised access, ENGEL e-factory enables the retrieval of all screen pages of the machines connected to the system, permitting the monitoring and/or evaluation of the actual tate of each individual machine.

Holistic in terms of the "digital factory"
Transparency is one of the essential prerequisites for the design and optimisation of all processes. Suppliers are being increasingly forced by their OEMs to plan their production processes with so-called „digital factory“ methods. These methods have the holistic aim of completely visualising, networking and simulating product development, production planning and the production process itself, thus making for constant improvement of the entire production chain. As a central engineering tool, ENGEL e-factory satisfies the prerequisites for data integration in any future production process.
