ENGEL Focuses on LSR at November Symposium

The latest in molding and process equipment, molds, feeding equipment and materials for liquid silicone rubber (LSR) molding will be on display at ENGEL North America’s latest technical symposium, Nov. 18.

ENGEL, a world leader in the design and manufacture of injection molding machines and part-handling automation systems, will present a technical symposium featuring the latest technologies and trends in LSR Nov. 18 at the company’s technical center in York, Pa..

The symposium will feature presentations from ENGEL specialists in LSR technology, along with representatives from leading companies in the LSR field. Topics will include doing business in LSR markets, antimicrobial silicones, dispensing techniques, materials for third stream metering and other marketplace issues. “We have gathered some of the industry’s leading LSR specialists in a symposium that I believe will provide valuable information and discussion for all who attend,” said Steve Braig, ENGEL North America president and CEO.

ENGEL brings more than 20 years’ experience in injection molding with LSR, with a comprehensive range of machine systems for manufacturing silicone components. In particular, their modular technology platform utilizes tiebarless clamping units and is combined with special-purpose injection units and feeding and metering systems.
