ENGEL North America will present a broad selection of all-electric injection molding machines, introduce a new 2-platen machine, and demonstrate a wide range of technological capabilities at the NPE2009, June 22-26 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
ENGEL, a world leader in the design and manufacture of injection molding machines and part-handling automation systems, will be “electrified” at NPE2009 with a wide range of injection molding machines, automation and ENGEL technology, with a focus on all-electric machines and energy savings. ENGEL’s 12,000 sq. ft. booth (#S24000) will be located in the South Hall of Chicago’s McCormick Place during NPE2009, June 22-26.
“ENGEL is a leading provider of comprehensive injection molding systems for manufacturing applications of all types,” said Steve Braig, ENGEL North America president and CEO. “Today’s economic environment has required manufacturers to be more conscious than ever of their energy costs and manufacturing processes. As a technology leader, we have designed machines and systems to offer considerable energy savings, as well as flexibility and performance. And, because NPE is the premier international showcase serving the entire plastics industry, it is the ideal venue for presenting these machines and technologies.”
Engel’s focus for NPE will be all-electric. “The machines to be featured at NPE will demonstrate our comprehensive capabilities in all-electric machine technology such as our leading edge medical molding cell and versatile multi-material technology,” Braig said.
In addition, ENGEL will introduce its latest 2 platen machine model -- the duo pico, with the fastest dry cycle time on the market, as well as the CC200 energy calculator which allows the choosing of machine settings that will provide the most energy efficient mode of operation.
The ENGEL NPE2009 exhibit will also feature a Technology / Training center that consolidates information about an extensive range of ENGEL products, technologies and services in one, easy-to-access location. Training group personnel, as well as ENGEL technical specialists, will be on site to provide additional assistance in technologies such as optimelt, variotherm and x-melt, and products such as the CC200 e-trainer and e-factory.
