Two New Members Join ENGEL North America's Rubber and Silicone Molding Team

ENGEL North America is pleased to welcome Jim Chiofolo and Steve Broadbent to the ENGEL sales team, specializing in rubber and liquid silicone molding applications.

ENGEL North America, a world leader in the design and manufacture of injection molding machines and parts-handling automation systems, announces the appointment of Jim Chiofolo and Steve Broadbent to its rubber and silicone injection molding equipment team.

Chiofolo, ENGEL’s national sales manager for ELAST and LSR (liquid silicone rubber), has been involved in the rubber industry since 1990. He has held leadership positions in production management, equipment installation and sales. Chiofolo holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Kent State University. He has expertise in economics, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic engineering.

Broadbent, Project Engineer of the Elast and LSR Group, has worked in the rubber industry for nearly two decades. Broadbent has held positions as a process technician and process engineer, and has an enormous range of experience in developing molding processes, specifying equipment and tools, and tool design.

“Chiofolo and Broadbent have had years of experience which will benefit not only the ENGEL organization, but also our customers and supplier partners” said Jim Moran, Vice-President of Sales for ENGEL North America. “ENGEL’S highly experienced sales team focuses on offering technical solutions for our customer’s injection molding applications. Chiofolo and Broadbent will continue in that tradition, concentrating on applications with our rubber and silicone customers.”
