Dolphin Process: Serial Production as of 2010

Cost-effective production of thick-section lenses

starlim//sterner in Marchtrenk/Austria, a producer of solid and liquid silicone parts took delivery of its 250th ENGEL injection molding machine. The machine was handed over to the Managing Director of starlim//sterner, Thomas Bründl, by ENGEL Managing Director Christian Pum. Dummies, mobile phone keypads, car seals, shower heads – these and similar items are produced by family-owned starlim//sterner, which has been on a steady course of expansion for many years. The owners' confidence is clearly reflected by their current investments. Intensive expansion of the facilities in Germany and Italy is in progress with double-figure million Euro investments.
