Within this framework ENGEL will be demonstrating its new Exjection® technology at the world's leading plastics fair, K 2007, from 24th to 31st October in Düsseldorf, Germany, manufacturing long, thin-walled plastic sections on a fully-electric ENGEL e-motion machine, and seals on an ENGEL elast as demonstrations.

ENGEL at K 2007 - Injection Moulding of Packaging with Improved Clamping Forces
Iinjection moulding machine manufacturer ENGEL will be demonstrating newly dimensioned ENGEL speed high-performance machines for injection moulding of plastic packaging at K 2007. One new addition to the product range is the ENGEL speed 500 with a clamping force of 5,000 kN which will be demonstrating the production of a 1 litre container using a 4+4 cavity stack mould. The fastest IML system on the market, a model with a clamping force of 1,800 kN will be producing decorated, round cups with an original product seal.

ENGEL opens injection moulding plasticsapplications to the automobile and automotive supplies industries with numerous newprocesses and combinations of processes. At the K 2007, ENGEL will be demonstrating the production of armrests using the Dolphin technology approach on an ENGEL duolarge-scale machine, along with a combination of ENGEL fluidmelt and ENGEL combimelttechnologies for manufacturing of multiple-branch media lines on a tiebar-lessENGEL victory machine.

ENGEL at K 2007 - GMP-Qualified Injection Moulding of Medical Products
Injection moulding machine manufacturer ENGEL will be presenting a turnkey solution for the production of medical technology components and medical mass products at the K 2007. The fully electric ENGEL e-victory injection moulding machine is GMP-qualified for use in clean rooms. The ma-chine with a clamping force of 500 KN produces micro-fluid test elements, under strictest clean room conditions; these "labs on a chip" (LOC) are sealed in plastic bags in the clean room.

The new ENGEL speed -- a fast-cycling injection molding machine line
To meet the challenge of the molding industry to continually produce parts faster, with the highest quality, the ENGEL SPEED line has been introduced. This new line of fast cycling machines (ranging from 135 to 650 metric tons) is being exhibited at the Plast-Ex 2007 show in sizes of 200 and 310 US tons.

Beginning in June 2007 Stephan G. (Steve) Braig will be appointed CEO of ENGEL North America. Steve Braig has 25 years experience with capital equipment and machinery in the packaging, automotive and injection moulding industries.
