Iinjection moulding machine manufacturer ENGEL will be demonstrating newly dimensioned ENGEL speed high-performance machines for injection moulding of plastic packaging at K 2007. One new addition to the product range is the ENGEL speed 500 with a clamping force of 5,000 kN which will be demonstrating the production of a 1 litre container using a 4+4 cavity stack mould. The fastest IML system on the market, a model with a clamping force of 1,800 kN will be producing decorated, round cups with an original product seal.

Injection moulding machine manufacturer ENGEL will be presenting a turnkey solution for the production of medical technology components and medical mass products at the K 2007. The fully electric ENGEL e-victory injection moulding machine is GMP-qualified for use in clean rooms. The ma-chine with a clamping force of 500 KN produces micro-fluid test elements, under strictest clean room conditions; these "labs on a chip" (LOC) are sealed in plastic bags in the clean room.
