The use of remote services allows for fast and cost-optimised support by ENGEL experts in cases of machine and process issues, as maintenance via the e-factory network tool removes the need to send experts on-site, except in the most difficult of cases.
ENGEL link direct is an online connection between the ENGEL product customer-side and a tele-service workplace at ENGEL; it supports troubleshooting, cycle optimisation and many other things. The connection to the ENGEL product can use either a phone line (modem) or the Internet.
This supports more efficient troubleshooting in case of malfunctions, thus reducing downtime and guaranteeing improved availability and production efficiency.
