ENGEL Tray Server

ENGEL Tray Servers (ETS) are units for the automatic provisioning of special plastic trays used for automated parts storage on an injection moulding machine. Via the combination of an injection moulding machine with a robot and a tray server, the injection moulding machine becomes a fully automated production cell and can be operated without any personnel. An operator is only required to unload the filled trays and fill the empty trays.

ENGEL tray servers are specifically used when injection moulded parts must be temporarily stored in correct position for further processing stages and need to be protected for transport. The parts storage in specially designed plastic trays meets this requirement.

ENGEL tray servers are equipped with an integrated stand-alone controller which can be synchronised with the robot controller via interfaces.
